Sometimes it doesn't pay to get out of bed

There are days and there are DAYS.

I used to think Monday was the beginning and end all of pain, then I discovered Tuesday.

My day is going pretty rough. 2 servers NIC's blew out, and I've got RAID controller problems. Sigh, work work, zug zug...

Just who are these things made for? Posted by Picasa

Blog ins.. I mean Plug-Ins

A Blug in… I mean Plug-In
So what happens when you take Word, slap Blogger onto it?  You get a productivity boost says I!
For once, my Word install is useful for something other than my usual work.

What else is going today.  Well I found an interesting label on a scanner.  The Kodak DS 2500 scanner has a bar used to shield a series of rollers.  On said bar is the following label “Retard Roller Module Replacement”  Wonder how that one got past the censors.

So between rockets being fired as US Ships, underground transformers blowing up in SF’s Financial District, it seems like it’s a pretty tame week.  Other than the fact I am being reemed by the Zotob outbreak which is forcing me to scramble at work. Boo work.

Sometimes you get to thinking that Windows is just trying to tell you something.

Upcoming Improvements to the Blog and Main website

With work keeping me busy most weekends I've been trying to come up with ways to improve the content on Vraxx.com and this blog. So far most of my efforts have been pretty fruitless but rather than attempt anything grandiose I've decided to try and do smaller simpler updates.

For a little more visual flair, I've picked up a new replacement "kick around" camera. A Canon SD400 replaces my aging S30 as my simple Point-Shoot camera for non-critical events, social gatherings. Hopefully when Canon finally releases an EOS 30D update for the EOS20 I will consider transitioning my main camera.

Vraxx.com will retain it's role as my high quality image and storage location, with Vraxxisms Live! focusing on daily events, news, humor and occasionally gaming reviews. Hope you enjoy these shots taken from my vacation to SF in July 2005.

For kicks, it's Robbie the Robot from at the Metreon! Posted by Picasa

Welcome to the world of software development

A quick Vraxxism

Vraxx: well at least you aren't getting bent over a desk and reamed like a certain MS toady
CardCaptor: poor squibworth...
Vraxx: hey he took that job with open arms
Vraxx: and ass cheeks
CardCaptor: welcome to the world of software development
