Longhorn loses the balls and becomes Vista

So the project formerly known as Longhorn with its many powerful images is now, Vista. Here's a few preliminary thoughts.

When I think of a vista, I think of a wide expanse of nothing... that I am forced to pay a lot of money for... So I guess the name makes sense.

*thought of the day*Will the shutdown noise be replaced by "Hasta la vista baby"?

Guess only time will tell.

Much ado about SCO

Slashdot Article: Unsealed SCO Email Reveals Linux Code is Clean

The following article is interesting. Yet more to question about the actual validity of SCO's claims against IBM and in turn, the Linux movement. A good read, though I'm sure some may argue that was just an independent reviewer, and doesn't _really_ shed much light onto what's going on @ SCO. Me? All I know is there's probably some GOOD drugs there. I dunno what SCO is smoking but it has to be some powerful stuff...

Vraxxcation! Is over :(

Well in case anybody was curious, I have been on vacation for the last week in San Francisco. The trip was a much needed break from my usual work stress and it was great to get a chance to see my old campus again (Go Bears!).

While I enjoyed my stay, I'll admit, the overabundance of food was starting to stress my waistline.

Hopefully I'll post a few pictures from my trip, most of which was centered around the Legion Of Honor Museum.
